Tip up or Tilt Top Furnaces are heavy duty and can be used for a variety of applications such as Hardening, Annealing, Normalizing, Ferritic Nitrocarburizing “FNC”, and Tempering/Stress Relieving.  The Tip Up furnaces can be loaded/unloaded via a fork lift or by a manipulator.

Twin Tip UpsOur Tip Up Furnaces are designed with heavy duty hydraulic cylinders to tilt the furnace section up and down for loading and unloading.  In addition, we offer both refractory and alloy hearth piers for light or heavy loading.

Our Tip Up Furnace lines comes with options for companion equipment such as Manipulators, Tempering Furnaces, Water and/or Oil Quench Tanks, Cooling Stations, and Storage Tables.  The Furnaces line can be operated Manually or Automated.

Direct Fired or Indirect Heating systems are available for our Tilt Top Furnaces.  For Indirect Heating, we offer both gas fired radiant tube systems as well as electrically heated systems.  The Indirect Heating allows for atmosphere usage such as Endothermic, Nitrogen, Argon, and Ammonia.
