Charge Cars
A Charge Car for Batch Integral Quench Furnace lines is one of the most important pieces of equipment. If the charge car breaks down, the whole line is down. Williams provides one of the heaviest duty and most reliable charge cars in the industry.
The Williams charge car is designed for loading and unloading on both sides of the furnace line. This allows the equipment to be located on both sides of the charge car for flexibility and to minimize the footprint of the equipment.
The charge car is designed with a heavy duty 6” pitch promal chain and self-tripping handler heads. The car is typically powered by an overhead Duct-O-Bar or a cable reel.
The charge car can be equipped for just loading and unloading the vestibule or the handler chain can have an extended length to load right into the furnace heating chamber and to quench.
Williams offers a variety of different sizes to meet our customers needs.
